Self Portrait by Brett Erickson
About Brett...
Brett grew up with a family of artists and has always had a creative mind. At a young age, he discovered his passion for photography using his mothers Pentax K1000 35mm film camera, which she purchased in 1978. He believes that everyone's smile is the best when they are laughing. Brett is a sports fanatic, nature lover, and pun treasurer!
Social Responsibility:
Brett has been a volunteer counselor since 2010 at Pilgrim Pines Camp, the camp he went to as a kid. Campers range in age from six to 18 years. Many come from foster homes; camp gives them a place to get away from the stresses of their lives. Pilgrim Pines also has programs for adults with mental disabilities. In addition to counseling, Brett volunteers his photography services by providing photos for post cards and setting up a photo booth to take photos of the campers with their friends; allowing them to take home a 5x7 photo of them and their friends. Brett has every intention to keep volunteering for years to come.
